Description
This system is used in surgical treatment of spine pathologies, such as degenerative processes and traumatic lesions.
It is a cylindrical, interbody fusion device, manufactured in various shapes and made of titanium, fitted with round holes to allow proper placement of bone graft and monitoring the growth and bone fusion through radiographic control or MRI. At both ends, there are sharp edges to optimize stability, contact and fixation of the implant with the vertebral bodies. Available in various sizes. Suitable for interbody fusion and maintenance of the interspace of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
Advantages
Its simplicity of use is coupled with the ease of the large space available for bone graft placement for more efficient bone integration.
Designation
The cervical mesh can be used in conjunction with anterior cervical plate in patients with cervical spinal instability caused by trauma, cervical deformity correction, nonunion or major reconstruction surgery for tumors of the cervical spine.
Thoracolumbar mesh is to be used in surgery of the spine in the thoracolumbar area.
This is a medical device developed in order to promote the establishment and stabilization of thoracolumbar vertebrae in the lumbar region, with dimensions suitable for use in spinal surgery, allowing the bone reconstruction and perfect fit of implantable material.
